The Banquet Server will set up and prepare banquet room for banquet functions. The Banquet Server will also
serve and bus tables as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up for functions to include setting tables and chairs, draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins
preparing drinks and put out table centerpieces.
Monitor distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct guest. Monitor food preparation or
serving techniques to ensure that proper procedures are followed.
Service to include picking up food, carrying trays to function location, serve food and clear the food from the
Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming.
Responsibilities also include cleaning and organizing of storerooms.
A professional appearance required. A uniform and nametag are required at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Two years food and beverage experience. Excellent customer service skills. Pleasant and helpful personality.
Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Must speak fluent English. Depending on
business demands this individual may be asked to work additional hours, flexible schedule, and/or perform
additional job responsibilities. Will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, and pull throughout the shift.
