We are seeking an ultimate guest service inspired Housekeeping Inspector, who will help to create, coach and lead an outstanding housekeeping team! We are looking for a leader who is passionate to provide a special home away from home experience for all our guests by understanding their needs and working hard to lead a strong team to satisfy those needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain proper inventory levels managing cost per room for supplies and labor.
  • Assist General Manager by control labor costs and ensure staff is following schedules as budgeted.
  • Assist with overseeing expenses.
  • Assist with managing day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback
  • Support General Manager by ensuring all team members are in compliance with federal, state and local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.
  • May assist with deep-cleaning projects and/or assist housekeeping staff during high-volume periods.
  • As needed, assumes all aspects of the house person, room and laundry attendant job duties.
  • Manage the quality of housekeeping and laundry services. Perform inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, rooms, equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
  • Carry out the special needs and requests of guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and club members.
  • Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
  • Meets or exceeds hotel guest satisfaction measures.
  • Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste and maintaining “green” initiatives (example: container recycling and cleaning agents).
  • May be responsible for the security of lost and found items throughout the hotel.
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards.
  • A professional appearance and nametag are required at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
